Chic C'est la Vie in St. Barts
We all wish we were leaving for a trip to St. Barts like yesterday.
But as life would have it, we're not. Instead - and maybe I should speak for myself - travel books and documentaries are SAVING MY LIFE. I'm diving into the pictures like I would the waves of the Caribbean, drinking in the shiny rays reflecting off the glossy photos like I would a mojito by the pool. So in that vein, we're continuing to highlight the cities that inspire us. Today: the pristine shores and exhilarating nightlife of St. Barts.
I'm an avid Real Housewives of New York City fan, and those divas love them some St. Barts. And why wouldn't they? St Barts is legit what you picture when you think of the Caribbean. As you can see from the video montages seen on The Price is Right and Wheel of Fortune, and the pictures here - the waters are as azure as they come, the sand a blinding white.
St. Barts
This French colony (where yes, the locals speak French; c'est sexy) exudes class and luxury. But it's not so exclusive that the average person is barred from entry. Compared to other Caribbean vacations, a St. Barts week runs about the same price. Plus, its 14 public beaches, legendary nightlife, high-end restaurants, and thrilling off-shore excursions make it worth every penny.
And speaking of worth every penny: our St. Barts surfboard shower is that and then some. This shower is inlaid with a strikingly brilliant fabric (fabric in a shower - whaaaa?). A collage of fuchsia flowers and periwinkle seashells outlined in a turquoise rail exudes elegance and fun, just like the island of St. Barts. This stunning shower will add a punch of color and vibrancy to your home (as would a sexy French local from St. Barts).

But our surfboard shower is a little more practical. With top-of-the-line shower components installed inside the board, this piece of artwork also serves a purpose. Enjoy a relaxing rinse outside while admiring our homage to the spirit of St. Barts.
